Sewing Inspiration, Part 2

Okay, so I'm a day late! Yesterday was a madhouse...

A note about the blogs I enjoy most: I tend to have something in common with the blogger! I'll try to note those commonalities here.

On to my favorite apparel sewing inspirations:

A Dress A Day - I just love this one because it is fun. I can't imagine myself ever sewing vintage dresses, but I do love to sew dresses! (You should see my dress pattern stash.)

Creative Reveries - Stephanie makes really stylish, pretty clothes that I could see myself wearing (if I had her talent!). Also, she likes to run, which I have done in spurts, myself. In fact, I ran a marathon in 2003 (with Team in Training, check it out!). I am out of the habit right now, but I tend to come back to it every once in a while.

Erica B's D.I.Y. Style - Erica is a star among sewing bloggers. She makes truly beautiful clothes. Erica is a SAHM (which I will be on January 3, 2008!).

Laura's Sewing Room - Laura is an amazingly talented (and amazingly fast) sewist. I'm not sure we have much in common (besides a love of sewing) but I am always inspired there.

Miss Celie's Pants - I love the clever name of Cidell's blog and its inspiration. Cidell and I were born in the same year. Other than that we seem to be near opposites, but I really enjoy seeing Cidell's creations.

Stacy Sews - Stacy is prolific! She sews both apparel and crafty items and I am awed at her talent in both. She's also a mom, like me!

I finished my sister's birthday gift last night, so I'll try to post pics soon. That way we'll get back to our regularly scheduled programming.
